Candidate: Marion Poitevint

To the citizens of Gilchrist County Hi I am Marion Poitevint, your County Commissioner District 4. It has been an honor to serve as your County Commissioner for the last 4 years. My husband and I have had a home in Gilchrist County since 1970, moving here from Central Florida in 2002. We have 2 children, Andrea and Michael and 4 grandchildren, Sara, David, Matthew and Allison. I retired from the telephone company as a customer service rep, I then worked as a night supervisor for a lawn care company and also for a property management company. I was a Girl Scout leader and a den mother for the cub scouts, I was involved with the PTA and little league baseball. I am now a member of the REC, AARP, Board of the Chamber of Commerce, Transportation Disadvantaged, a member of the Gilchrist County Women’s Club and a Certified County Commissioner. My intensions is to continue to work with the other Commissioners to insure all our citizens feel we are meeting their needs. I am concerned about our water and our need for Broadband.
