            I was so honored to be endorsed by the CCEA, which represents the teachers and educational support professionals from across the school district.

            I am 43 years old, a graduate of Lecanto High School and the University of Florida, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations. I have been representing and advocating for children, families and the community for the majority of my career, which includes:

·       Private sector management experience at a regional organization with a $45 million budget

·       Director of Community Development & PIO at Kids Central, Inc., the lead agency for child protective services in Citrus County

·       Business & Communications Liaison at Marion County government

·       Community Relations Manager at the College of Central Florida in Citrus, Levy and Marion Counties

            These practical experiences in business, government and higher education will enable me to be a strong voice for students and employees, and bring a new perspective to the School Board.
