Candidate: Richard A 'Rick' Schroeder

I have a degree in computer science, over a decade of experience as a real estate sales agent, broker, and fee appraiser, I spent several years in public service maintaining a small city, and I am a conservative. Since taking a position as an appraiser with Citrus County in 2008 I have earned a Certified Florida Evaluator (CFE) designation from the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) and I have watched the team in this office grow into the transparent and efficient organization that it is now. When I learned that Mr. Cook would not be seeking reelection I was concerned, so after reviewing the situation I decided that I had to step up and fill the void that he would leave.
