Candidate: Jeffery Shane Kinnard

It has truly been a privledge and honor to serve on Citrus County's Board of County Commissioners since 2016.  A conservative voting record to be proud of, we've made significant investments in infrastructure improvments where needed, and saved taxpayers millions of dollars where we could.  I've voted to lower our property tax rate every year, advocated for a smaller, more user friendly government, and spent days days in Tallahassee lobbying for state funds for local transportation, environmental, and recreation projects. 

Building stronger working relationships with other governing bodies in our community, improving the landscape to attract commercial investment, and expansion of our outdoor recreational opportunities have all been focal points of mine while serving on the Board of County Commissioners.

Citrus County is a special place for my family and I to call home, you will not find a stronger advocate to strengthen and protect our Nature Coast.
