Candidate Statement 

It would be my honor and privilege to serve the Forest Creek Community District as a member of the Board of Supervisors.  

As a 3-year resident, I have grown very fond of this wonderful Community and will serve passionately on your behalf. I will conscientiously pursue common sense solutions that represent the Community. My only personal consideration for seeking this position is a desire to serve the Community with honesty, fidelity and virtue. I will actively embrace all opportunities to promote and endorse Forest Creek. 

With 36 years as General Manager of fine country clubs, 8 years of broad hospitality industry management, 2 years exposure in public and private accounting and a complimentary college education in both areas provides a sound foundation upon which I may successfully contribute to the Forest Creek Community District. 

My financial and management experience will be beneficial in governance of the District. I will be thoughtful, deliberate and prudent of the Community in consideration of any and all financial matters. Financial transparency is imperative to me as a Board Supervisor. I believe in yearly zero-based budgeting in determining the annual operations blueprint. I believe in regular bidding of contracts from detailed spec sheets. I will be a responsible steward of the Community when addressing District long term capital and/or infrastructure spending.  I will help to develop and implement standard operational procedures in this dynamic world of challenges. Additionally, I will meet or exceed your expectations in fulfilling all legal, ethical and customary District standards with honesty and integrity. 

Please, consider the importance of this election as all elections have consequences. Study each candidate and their platform. Are new voices needed to represent this Community going forward? Do you desire a Board with independent thinkers and a variety of skill sets and experiences to make decisions on your behalf? Should the Board be fair minded and balanced? Should the Board be concerned with Community divisiveness and its negative effect on property values and/community collegiality? I believe that great teams accomplish great goals! Great goals can be accomplished at Forest Creek if the Community will collectively harness its intellectual and practical life experiences into one energetic and cohesive team! 

I look forward to serving the Forest Creek Community District with sound principles on your behalf. I respect those Board of Supervisors who have served before me. I am also anxious to develop a respectful and productive relationship with the next Board. However, I do reserve the right to methodically analyze each challenge and to be firm in my convictions. I welcome everyone’s input and suggestions!
