Candidate: Chris Gilbert

Chris is a resident of Bradenton. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Chris earned a B.A. in American Studies from Eckerd College in 1997 with a concentration in Environmental History. Chris has worked in Communications and Customer Relations for SunTrust, Seagram-Tropicana, United Parcel Service, and Spectrum. Chris prepared for the Certified Public Accountancy exam in an Honors Accounting program at the University of Louisville. He’s currently a Financial Planning student at the American College for Financial Services.  

In 2015, Chris was appointed to The City of Bradenton’s Tree and Land Preservation Board, and served for five years--two as Chair. The Manatee Democratic Environmental Caucus has endorsed Chris for this Fall’s campaign.
