Candidate: Rodney O'Quinn

Rodney O'Quinn is a lifelong Manatee County resident.  He attended Jesse P Miller, King Middle and Manatee High Schools.  Rodney and his wife Tina have been married for 27 years and have raised 2 wonderful daughters, Taylor and Morgan.  Both have worked in the family business, Keller's Pest Control.  In 1994 Rodney and his partner Jim Keller started Keller's Pest Control from the ground up.  Rodney is a certified operator in "General Household Pest Control and Rodent Control" and "Termites and other Wood Destroying Organisms".  Keller's Pest Control serves thousands of clients in 7 counties.   

Rodney and his companies regularly donate both time and money to many charitable causes and families in need.  Being and avid outdoorsman, Rodney grew up spending every weekend and summer on the Rod n Reel pier that his Grandfather, Frank Cavendish, owned and operated for nearly 40 years.  Rodney was involved in the founding of the Palmetto Kiwanis Pete Turner Classis (later Memorial) fishing tournament.  He was also on the board of the Sam Crosthwait fishing tournament for many years and the tournaments chairman in its 25th Anniversary year.  Rodney continues to be active with many other tournaments as well and is proud of the charities they support, scholarships they provide and families they help.
