Candidate: Shaun R Lehoe

Shaun Lehoe is the grandson of Hungarian immigrants that came to America for a better life.  He grew up in Venice, Florida and graduated from Venice High School. Shaun then studied Accounting and Finance at the University of Central Florida.  While in college he began working for Universal Orlando and worked his way through the ranks starting as a Ride and Show Attendant on Kongfrontation and finishing as a Cost Control Analyst for the Operations Division.  Shaun then returned back to Venice where he worked as a Store Manager for a check cashing store before becoming a Loss Control Manager for a major retailer. Shaun most recently has worked as a Campaign Manager on local elections and is a full-time father and caregiver.

In 2017 his youngest niece, Sierra, had a stroke and was hospitalized for 3 months.  Shaun took over her care upon being released from the hospital and in September 2018 he officially adopted her and continues to be her caregiver.  He also has two fur baby dachshunds, Bella and Mandy.

Shaun has had many life experiences and has never wanted to be a candidate because he knows that he hasn’t always fit the perfect checkbox and never wanted to put himself or family through the rigors of campaign life.  He has always been a behind the scenes manager and activist that believes in fighting for the right thing and helping those who are voiceless and afraid to speak up. It is that passion and desire to help those who can’t speak for themselves that has made him decide that now is the time to step up and run for office himself.  His heart is 100% in doing what is right, just, and best for everyone, not just a few.
