Candidate: Rick Murphy

Folks I wrote my complete bio, personal background, education, goals and history on the site. Unfortunately this system times out and doesn't alert you that its going to do so or to save your information. I will rewrite my bio again at a later time.

But with that said, here is some of the short points.

I was born and raised in Hooker's Point which is our District 5.

I graduated from Clewiston High, Palm Beach Atlantic College Bachelors of Organizatioanl Management and minor in Education and Florida Atlantic University (Masters Program).

I worked in Business in Clewiston, Teaching in other counties, served on the Hendry County School Board 14 years and as the Superintendent of Schools 4 years. I worked inj school administration in Palm Beach County. I have continued working in education and business. 

My main goal is to serve the residents and families in our district and county.

Other goals:

To improve the roads in our district and the county.

To improve the drainage of storm water 

To improve and offer county services

To improve lighting in our district and other rural areas

To support emergency and health care

To support Fire and rescue

To support law enforcement

To improve housing opportunities 

To support parks and recreation

To support senior services

To support affordable housing

To support county employees and departments by providing the equipment and materials needed

To support managed growth through the county comprehensive land use plan that is approved by the state 

Please note: My campaign reports do not show any contributions by land developers, businesses, builders or groups that would affect my decision making process for what's best for the county and its residents.
