My life's journey has been a testament to resilience, adaptation, and the pursuit of passion. Born in Cuba, my early years were marked by the vibrant culture and heritage of my homeland. However, fate had other plans, and at the tender age of 7, I found myself leaving the only home I knew, FORCED to start a new life in a foreign land. Miami-Dade County became my new haven, where I began to educate, my parents rebuild and rediscover myself. The city's diverse tapestry and warm embrace helped me navigate the challenges of adapting to a new language, culture, and way of life. As I grew, Miami's vibrant energy and multicultural spirit instilled in me a deep appreciation for the beauty of human connection and community. Years passed, and I built a life filled with purpose and meaning. However, the global pandemic of 2020 brought unprecedented challenges, forcing me to reevaluate priorities and seek a new sense of security and stability for my family. It was then that we made the decision to leave the hustle and bustle of city life behind and start anew in Clewiston, Florida. This small town, nestled in the heart of Hendry County, has been a revelation. The warm hospitality and strong sense of community have been a balm to our souls, allowing us to reconnect with the simple joys of life. As I settled into our new home, I discovered a profound passion for the people and stories that make this town tick. In Clewiston, I have found a sense of belonging and purpose. I have been drawn to the resilience and kindness of the people, their stories of struggle and triumph, and their unwavering commitment to community. My passion for people has been reignited, and I have found myself immersed in the local culture, seeking ways to contribute and make a positive impact. Through my experiences, I have come to realize that life is a tapestry of moments, woven together by the threads of love, loss, and resilience. My journey from Cuba to Miami, and now to Clewiston, has taught me that home is not just a physical place but a sense of belonging and connection to the people and community around us. In Clewiston, I have found my village , and my passion for people has been harvested in ways I never thought possible. As I look to the future, I am filled with gratitude for the journey that has brought me here and excitement for the opportunities that lie ahead. My story is a testament to the human spirit's capacity to adapt, to love, and to thrive in the face of adversity. With much love, I share these thoughts.
