Markesha James is running to serve as your DeLand City Commissioner Seat 5. Raised right here in the City of DeLand, Markesha graduated Summa Cum Laude from DeLand High School in 2002. She continued her education and received an Honors Associate of Arts degree from Seminole State College and then graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. Markesha has been active in her community and has volunteered her time and talents to various outreach programs and organizations to support those in need in the local community.
