Candidate: Orey Crippen

born in DeLand, resident of west Volusia for 65 of my 69 years.  married with 3 children, 2 grandchildren. resident of Orange City since 2002, but lifelong visitor.  BA from Stetson University 1971, Masters Degree from USF 1993 Public Health Administration retired from State of Florida after 30 years, then spent 4 years opening and managing the Federally Qualified Health Center in Pierson Florida.  Elected to City Council of Orange City in 2009 at large position.  have worked hard these last 9 years to make our city the best place to live, work, and play in a safe and healthy environment.  own a business with my wife, Gail Fleming-----Headliner Hairstyles and Antiiques on Volusia Avenue.  promote our city daily, especially proud of working hard to get our Community Redevelopment Agency approved in 2015, which will revitalize our downtown area at no extra cost to taxpayers!  I lobbied face to face with each member of the County Council for approval.  lots of hard work ahead of us, and we have done a lot and I want to continue to work for our citizens
