Candidate: CARLA RONCO

I am a native of Fort Myers. I went through Lee County Schools and graduated from Riverdale High School. I then attended and graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. I have been married to Lawrence Ronco for 28 years and have three amazing children. Our oldest son graduated from Riverdale High School with a 5.2 gpa. Our daughter is a Senior at Riverdale and currently has a 4.2 gpa. Our youngest son is an 8th grader at The Alva School and was just inducted to the National Junior Honor Society. I taught in the Lee County School District for 8 years. I stopped only when I had my third child. I have had my real estate license since I was 21 years old and in 2003 opened up Florida Living Realty Group with my husband Larry. In 2006, we built our commercial office building. We survived the real estate market crash not because we were lucky, but because of smart decisions and knowing how to budget. I want to be the next District 5 School Board Member because I know I can make a difference. I am not a politician or career board member. I am simply a mom, a former teacher and a business owner who is concerned about the children of Lee County. I know by working together with the other board members we can bring the district back to the \"A\" status that it once was. I would appreciate your vote on August 26th. Thank you
