Candidate: Cynthia Davis Berry

My name is Cynthia Davis Berry and I am a candidate for the office of Clerk of Court.

I am a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where I serve as Musician and Assistant Sunday School Teacher.

After I graduated from Bradford High School in 1976 I enlisted in the United States Air Force.  

I was a Governor appointee to the Judicial Nominating Committee for our  Circuit and served from 1994-1998.

I began my tenure here in the Clerks's Office 34 years ago as a traffic clerk.  I am presently the Court Operations Coordinator.

I am extremely honored and proud to recieve the endorsement of my mentor and current Clerk of Courts the Honorable Ray Norman.

The administrative and statutory duties of the Clerk are numerous, complex and challenging. These duties have changed dramatically through the years.  I have worked alongside Clerk Ray Norman through the years to implement mandatory changes and trained staff to perform these tasks. The Clerk must be familiar with and able to perform these duties.
My experience, knowledge, dedication and  hard work have  prepared me for this responsibility  and to lead this office.

It will be my privilege to work with the Board of County Commissioners to achieve the very best for the citizens of our County.

One of the greatest and most important responsibilities of the Clerk is serving the citizens of Bradford County.  As your Clerk I will be committed to providing you with the service and respect that you deserve. My accountability will be to you the citizens of this great County of which I am proud to be part of.

It was an honor to serve my Country in the United States Air Force and I would be honored to serve you as your next Clerk of Court.
