Corey grew up in Broward County. He attended grade school in Plantation and then his family relocated to Fort Lauderdale where he finished his high school education.
Corey is an alumnus of Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center where he graduated cum laude. During law school, Corey was an intern in the Economic Crimes division of the Florida Office of the Attorney General where he worked on sensitive claims involving violations of Florida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act ("FDUTPA").
Throughout his decade-long career as a litigator, he was consistently named to the National Trial Lawyers' Top 40 under 40 list as well as named as a Rising Star in Thomson Reuters' Super Lawyers. Corey is a Florida Justice Association Eagle member and has spoken at numerous legal conferences.
Additionally, Corey has litigated cases all throughout the state of Florida and the Country - appearing in both state and federal court.
Corey was first admitted to the Florida Bar in 2011, the California Bar in 2012, and District of Columbia and New York Bars in 2019. In addition to litigating, Corey has served as a mentor/coach for recent law school graduates studying for the Florida bar examination.
Currently, Corey lives with his wife, two daughters and two dogs in Fort Lauderdale. Corey's a magician and art-enthusiast.
