Candidate's Statement

Judge Olga Levine is a native Floridian who was born in Orlando and was raised in South Florida. Her parents are both of Cuban descent. Judge Levine was the first member of her family to graduate from law school and received both her undergraduate and law degree from University of Florida. After being admitted to the Florida Bar in 1989, she worked as a Broward County Assistant Public Defender and in private practice at Levine and Associates, P.A. Judge Levine was elected to the bench on November 6, 2012.

Judge Levine was named the 2023 Judge of the year for support and leadership in the legal and Hispanic community of Broward. Also, she has served as Chairperson of the Small Claims Rules Committee of the Florida Bar and the Chairperson of the Civil Rules/Small Claims Committee of County Court Judges of Florida.

Judge Levine presides on the Bench at the West Regional Courthouse in Plantation. She feels privileged that her position in County Court (often referred to as the “People’s Court”) allows her a more direct opportunity to engage, interact and serve our community. She serves her community acting as a board member to charitable organizations and volunteers mentoring attorneys and the youth of Broward about the role our Judiciary plays in society.
