Being a mother is one of Narnike's driving forces that propels her advocacy for children. It is and continues to be her life’s purpose and motivation.  When elected, Narnike will have an opportunity to inspire, collaborate, and learn from the students and teachers of Broward County.

Narnike firmly believes it "takes a village" model to raise the future leaders in Broward therefore the village is the key to fostering that success. This is derived from the Igbo and Yoruba African tribes where there is an African Proverb that states “It takes a village." The meaning of this proverbs is that everyone in the community, tribe, collective, or village comes together to take care of each other, especially children. Every member is tasked with the responsibility for the juveniles in the village. Unfortunately, in today's society, these communal elements are declining. Narnike is of Haitian descent, and spent some of her formative years as a child in Haiti. She remembers clearly witnessing the positive affects of the village model. The members did so physically, emotionally, and financially.

Narnike believes in a community goal of: galvanizing Broward County, and placing the children, teachers, and staff at the forefront of decision-making.  This includes school policy, district budgets, and internal structural decisions.

It is imperative that the voters of Broward County consider a school board candidate on many factors, including their passion for public education, and their willingness to listen and collaborate with the parents/guardians, students, teacher/staff, and stake holders of Broward County.

The Broward County School District can only be successful with the collaboration of all of the people it serves. Once again, It takes a village to reach this goal to allow the children in the district to achieve their full potential. In order for our district and community to move forward, the district needs to establish more transparency and foster positive discourse. When elected, Narnike's goal is to ensure these ideals will prosper with the help of village members.  Please join her to invoke real positive change in the Broward County Public Schools by tending your vote on August 18, 2020; as Narnike looks forward to your participation in this village.
