I’m better now and want to participate by becoming your voice at City Hall. The Commissioners up for re-election have my greatest respect – I’m not running against anyone. But I’m a pro-active person with independent ideas. I want to help forge consensus by finding reasonable solutions to the issues we face. I believe no deal works unless it works for everyone. We all love Anna Maria and don\'t want to see it ruined as we continue to welcome visitors to our little paradise. The City\'s first business is to define its own future and protect its vision, which can only happen through governance. Its second business is hospitality. These are not incompatible goals. As an independent candidate unconnected to any group, I will listen to every side of every issue. There\'s a middle way. It always works. Please vote for me. I can help. Thanks, Penny. BIO: I\'m an artist and writer with books published and paintings in many museums and collections. For many years I was creative director of a well-known advertising and marketing firm in NYC. I also have been involved on my own in real estate for twenty years and am familiar with the issues. I was born in NY and attended Smith College for two years before dropping out at nineteen and taking off for Europe. I have supported myself since then. I have lived and traveled in many parts of the world and had a really great time - but I\'m very happy to now call Anna Maria my home.
