Candidate: Pam Cunningham

Dr. Pam Cunningham is a mother, a physician, a conservative, and a fighter.  She is the child of immigrants who came to the United States seeking liberty and their chance at the American Dream.  Dr. Cunningham attributes many of the successes that she has had in life to her education. 

During college, Dr. Cunningham volunteered as a tutor for underserved, struggling children.  She then spent two years organizing, running, and teaching overnight summer camps that promoted underserved youth entering the fields of science and medicine.  During her senior year in college, Dr. Cunningham worked full time as a substitute teacher in the public school system.  She then went on to attend medical school and received her degree as a medical doctor.  Both during her time as a medical student and after graduation, she worked in volunteer clinics for underserved families.  

Through her years in education, as a student herself; as a tutor for impoverished and struggling students; as a leader of summer camps for underserved youth; as a substitute teacher; as a volunteer at her children's schools and her church's children's ministry; and as a volunteer promoting literacy and patriotism with the Collier County Patriot Reader's group, Dr. Cunningham developed a passion for education and a strong working knowledge of different approaches to education.

Dr. Pam Cunningham is dedicated to ensuring that every child in Collier County receives an excellent education, so that they too have their chance at achieving the American dream.  

She STANDS FOR excellence in education for all Collier students, parents' rights, school choice, and accountability to the tax payer. 

She STANDS AGAINST the progressive, liberal education agenda; indoctrination; wasteful spending; and corruption.
