After HS he worked for a local business as a truck driver. At age 30 he bought his first truck and has been an independent businessman ever since.Dave is President of Tri County Trucking, Tri County Truck Repair, and Tri County Truck Sales, located in the Morris Industrial Park and is a member of Englewood Cape Haze Chamber of Commerce.Dave is past president of the Whispering Pine\'s HOA and is now on the board. He has contributed time to little league,Boy Scouts,Tai Kwan Do,and Lemon Bay Rotary Club Dave enjoys fishing and old cars and drag racing.He currently has a 1957 Chevy. As such Matt,Judy and Dave enjoy the time spent together at car shows.Dave\'s 46 year\'s of marriage is testimony to his love of family. Dave and his wife Judy, have four children. Three are grown and on and on their own. Son Matt is 9 years old. Both Dave and Judy spend a lot of time in activites with him. Judy runs the house and also works in the business on a regular basis. Judy is active in Boy Scouts and volunteers her time at Taylor Ranch and was in little league and soccer.Dave is qualified and able to be a board member of the Englewood Water district. EWD is a business. His lifetime experience of running his own business is ample qualification. He is able to serve because he has time to devote. He is attending board mettings to get an understanding of the specific current challenges facing the board. Dave will listen to EWD customers. You want a board member who will hear your position and consider it when making decisions. He will evaluate motions brought before the board and support those he feels are in the best intrest of it\'s customer\'s.
