Candidate: Jason William Green

I offer eight years of experience dealing with Growth Management, Utilities, Transportation, and Economic Development issues. My professional experiences make me prepared and job-ready to serve you as your District 2 Commissioner. As Planning Manager for DeSoto County, I provide oversight of all development review and coordination between various internal and external agencies, including state permitting departments. My background includes a B.A. from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte and working towards Master of Public Administration at Florida Gulf Coast University. My career has been defined by leadership roles on several local and regional committees; and a commitment to providing excellent service to citizens. I look forward to working full-time as a Commissioner and serving this great community. It is time for new leadership with proven experience.
