Candidate: John A. "Jack" McLaughlin

Hello!  My name is Jack McLaughlin and I am honored to have the opportunity to run as your next representative for Celebration’s Community Development District (CCDD), Seat 5.

Celebration has been our home for more than 21 years. Throughout these years I have worked to strengthen and grow our community. I served on the Celebration Residential Owner’s Association Board of Directors for 8 ½ years as President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Board Member. In 2014, I spearheaded the passage of the Capital Improvement Fund. This enabled the community to accumulate funds to pay for numerous amenities such as our dog park, athletic fields and purchase additional land in the Civic Corridor for future development without increasing homeowner dues.

I am running for a position on the CCDD board based upon a platform of preserving, resorting and improving the amenities and services residents have long enjoyed and also bring new important amenities to the community. Our community is over 25 years old and it’s time to clean-up, refurbish and update our community.

I look forward for the opportunities to engage with my neighbors during this election season to hear your views, concerns, and desires for what Celebration should be as we plan for our future.
