Born and raised in Kissimmee, Florida, Niles Chalifoux has spent his entire life getting to know his community. And now, he hopes to serve the community as the representative for Kissimmee City Commission Seat 3.
Niles brings to the table an extensive work background. His expertise runs from finance and budgeting, through construction and property management under Thomas Contracting and Sunray Management Group — a family business that evolved in Kissimmee forty years ago. With his career beginning in the height of the Great Recession, he understands the community’s needs in order to overcome the financial damage of the coronavirus pandemic.
Business isn’t all that’s to his name. Niles spends his weekends kayaking Shingle Creek, cycling along Shingle Creek Regional Trail and boating on Lake Tohopekaliga. He is also a beekeeper, which encouraged him to choose a beehive as his campaign logo.
“I think of our community as a beehive — the center of our lives, where all the action happens. Our ideal community should be attractive, prosperous and safe for existing generations and those to come. My goal is to make Kissimmee that ideal place.” - Niles Chalifoux
Campaign Highlights
Making Kissimmee Attractive: Quality in development, not quantity in development.
Making Kissimmee Prosperous: A destination of its own, not a drive-thru to a larger city.
Making Kissimmee Safe: Better roads, traffic solutions and safety for pedestrians.
