Candidate: Donald Shroyer

Donald A. Shroyer M.Ed. is a lifelong resident of Osceola County. He studied Leadership from Stetson University and continues to build future generations as an educator. He loves governance while making polices, resolutions, and ordinances for St. Cloud.

He is the son of the late William “Punky” Shroyer and Diana Pancake. Encouraged by his peers, family, and friends, Donny pursued local politics. He was first elected in 2011 and was named Elected Official of the Year (2013). He has received many Florida League of Cities advocacy awards and continues to cultivate a climate for success in Government.

 
Donny has served as the chair for the Water Cooperative of Central Florida, President of Tri-County League of Cities, a governmental liaison for Florida Municipal Power Association, and board member of St. Cloud Mainstreet Association. He also served as deputy mayor for two years.

Grateful to serve such an amazing diverse community, Donny is often seen out and about greeting new residents with warm welcomes in a way that is customary to the city of St. Cloud.
