Candidate's Statement

Olga Lucía Castaño was born in Armenia, Colombia, and emigrated to New York in 1981. She is the mother of two exceptional children, Karen and Giovanni, and enjoys spending time with her seven beautiful grandchildren.
 

As a real estate professional for over 15 years, she aims to empower families in achieving the American Dream. Olga Lucia believes that a successful business community starts with participation from non-profits, churches, and local families to help provide economic opportunity for people to work, play, and forge a prosperous neighborhood.  Community participation and educational development lead to a revitalized economy and positive values, sure to carry through future generations.
