After participating in Unite Here Local 737 E-Board since 2012, and working for a long time for positive change in Central Florida. I feel that the time has come to face a greater challenge. I want to bring fresh ideas and positive solutions to the City of Kissimmee by running for mayor.
After being a Kissimmee resident for 26 years, I had many difficult problems and was able to see what our city is facing and have learned that the “Easy Solution” is a fallacy. Being a member of Unite Here has provided me with the experience and knowledge to serve the community and its needs for the future. I have always been very concerned about the high unemployment rate in the city. I believe that viable solutions are available that will create more jobs for the citizens of Kissimmee. Another important issue is the high cost of services. Within the strategies of my Government Plan I have designed a program to reduce those costs
.
In order to serve the people of Kissimmee, I have to carry out an aggressive campaign, for this campaign to be successful, it requires a lot of organization. I already ran for the office of mayor of the city of Kissimmee. I also started a weekly radio program called Cabildo Abierto on 1220AM La Primera. Every Wednesday 5-6PM. We are going to need more advertising with brochures, flyers, etc. That is why I am reaching out to people who know me best, and inviting them to participate in my campaign and help make a difference and win on August 30, 2016.

I ask for your support in this great challenge because I am like you, a responsible hard-working citizen, that is why I know what your needs are. I hope that you will help me lead a better government for the people of Kissimmee. Your collaboration, in addition to monetary support, will help me achieve this position. As you know, some 67,000 citizens of Kissimmee and the surrounding area are directly or indirectly part of the Union. That is also the reason why I ask for your support by letting everyone know that I am running for mayor of Kissimmee.
