Candidate's Statement

Doug St. Cerny was appointed to the Board of County Commissioners in 1990 and served his county through 2006. While serving, Doug was a founding member of The Horizon Council, always seeking business development in Lee County. Doug also served on the Port Authority through the planning,design and construction of our Southwest Florida International Airport. He was Chairman of the Tourist Development Council. Doug was liaison to Florida Gulf Coast University from it\'s inception until 2006. Doug is honored today, to serve on the Board of Trustees at FGCU.
