Candidate: LARRY HART

Larry Hart is the Tax Collector for Lee County. He was appointed by Governor Rick Scott and has served as Assistant Tax Collector for eleven years. The Tax Collector\'s office collected revenue for the State of Florida, Lee County, area Cities and all other Taxing Authorities. The office has provided enhanced services for the citizens of Lee County including Motor Vehicle and Driver Licenses. Our customer Service Survey tells us over 98% of the citizen we serve is please with the services we provide. We have reduced our budget by 34.1% since 2007-08. Larry is a Proven Leader and the only canidiate with Proven Leadership Skills. He has provide oversight to several large organizations over his career. Larry joined the office after retiring from the Fort Myers Police Department, where he served as chief of Police. Larry was appointed to the Board of Trustees of Florida Gulf Coast University by Governor Scott,Bush and Christ. Larry is a 1990 Graduate of the FBI National Academy. He has a degree from Edison College and Barry University. He also served in the United States Air Force.
