Candidate: Keith Richter

My name is Keith Richter and I am running for Hendry Hospital board district 3. I have been married to my wonderful wife Maria for 33 years and have 3 great children. David is 31 and a road engineer, he is also the father of my 3 grandchildren. Cynthanie is 27 and an army officer in Tampa. My youngest is Elric 23 and he owns and operates a local business in Labelle. My professional qualifications are as such. Operation Desert storm US Marine for 8 years, also a disabled American veteran since 1992. I have a bachelor's degree from USF (95) and a masters (97) in mathematics. I was a school teacher for 10 years and taught in Hendry county. As a professional emergency manager I held the planning chief position for the county during our worst disaster, hurricane Irma. I also own a local business since 2016. I want to bring an emergency management focused voice to the hospital board. Where readiness for a disaster, mitigation of the effects and training of our medical professionals is a top priority.
