   Qualifications:

   *   40 years Management experience in the Automobile business in New England.

   *    Negotiated deals every single day from automobiles to Manufacturer negotiations, local government issues, employee issues, client problems etc.

   *   Since moving to Florida 16 years ago:   Own and operate one of the largest  all inclusive wedding companies in the United States.....with more Weddingwire.com client reviews than any wedding company of it's kind ....in the United States.

   *   One of the first in the Northeast to actually teach customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction scores and team building within dealerships.

  BOARD EXPERIENCE:

       *   Served on the Finance Committee of the town that we lived in up in Massachusetts for 3 years.   Successful budget negotiations and balance budgets all 3 years.

      *    Invited to serve on the first Board of Directors of the Hilltowns Ambulance Services,  serving 6 Berkshire "hilltowns"  entire emergency Ambulance needs 24 hours a day. Served on this Board for 2 years.

    *    Appointed to and served on the Key West Golf Club HOA Board of Directors  for 3 years in Key West Florida.        

    *    390 unit HOA gated community with properties ranging from $400,000.00 up through over $1 million dollars.

    *   I  solely oversaw the 24 hour complete Property Security Staff and operations including the Main gates and Security surveillance. 

 Actual Port of the Islands Experience:

*   8 years ago, when South Florida Water Management district and the Federal Government wanted to remove Weir #1 on the Orchid Cove side and build a new weir way back toward the Gun Range,   creating actual high and low tides all the way back there....along with a dry mud hole twice a day during all of winter dry season.....at the direct objection of the CID Engineer.  I personallly and singularly took on both the SWFWD and the FEDS.....to stop it.....which I did.

The Engineer told us all that it was a "done deal", and that "you can't fight the Federal Government."

Well....Weir # 1 hasn't moved in 8 years, isn't going to, and I did, in fact, stop both organizations by threatening them with a little known real estate term called " Adverse Condemnation".  

And that's why the Federal Governent and SFWMD wasted 4.5 MILLION DOLLARS after that.....to blow up all of the limestone bottom and creat that ridiculous "ox bow" down stream for the Manatee population here.

Only one problem.   For generations, the migrating Manatee have been naturally "imprinted" to find water up at Weir #1....and they swim right past the new oxbow.  It was a total waste of money.  

**   More recently.....I have attended numerous CID meetings,  been actively involved in numerous community based issues,  including, with your help, putting the brakes on the CID Board of Supervisors move to borrow $3 MILLION DOLLARS to take down the old North Hotel  at OUR expense and to issue low interest funding to some random  "developers". ...throwing us ever deeper into debt than we already are.

**     I also aggressively stopped this CID Board from moving forward with "Helping out "good friend" Mayor Sammy Hamilton" in Everglades City by accepting thousands of gallons of untreated waste into our sewer plant facility every single day.    It's 5  years later....and all of that raw sewage is still being hauled out of Everglades City every night because they don't have and never will have the 50 million dollars to build the correct wastewater treatment plant there.    

**     I also publicly exposed this CID Board's complete lack of management and money management a few years ago by explaining to all of our residents "the real reason" why we were getting "BOIL WATER "  notices every other day right after thunderstorms.    It was called:   NOT paying attention to the Plant operation and NOT having the money to fund it's operation properly .     Mysteriously.....immediately after I exposed this situation on Nextdoor.com......NO MORE "BOIL WATER" NOTICES. for 3 YEARS now.
