Candidate: Greg Anderson

Jacksonville is my home. Along with my wife and our two boys, we choose to live in Jacksonville and are excited about its future. Over the next four years, each legislative decision will have an incredible impact on our community. I am running, because I see a need for strong financial leadership and a pro business attitude on City Council. My experience serving our citizens for the last four years on the TRUE commission compliment my 25 years as a veteran of the financial services industry. These skills are uniquely suited to face the upcoming challenges of our city. My financial background and ability to understand revenues, expenses and budgets are a key quality for this next council. I will work for financially sound city management, a reduction in city spending, and an environment of strong job growth, so we can lower taxes and make smart investments for the future. I hold a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Georgia, a Certified Cash Manager Certification, and a Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies from Duquesne University. Currently, I am EverBank’s Premier Market Leader.
