James \"BIG JIM\" Breland is a northside community leader and political activist who resides in scenic and historical Garden City, an old Jacksonville community diverse in its culture and heritage. \"BIG JIM\" formed the Garden City Neighborhood Association ten years ago and is the mayoral appointed CPAC representative for the association. \"BIG JIM\'s\" number one priority is to return government to the people. \"My priorities will be to carry forward the will of the people. I\'m color blind and all I see is good and bad. My job will be to be responsible to all people, no matter their community or station in life. My job will be to protect and to serve twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. This will be my only job, to serve the people of District 11. This candidate will be concerned with the present and not chasing dollars or ensuring a poltical future.\" I am a Republican, however, I have always voted my conscience and hope you will too.
