Candidate's Statement

I am a proud graduate of West Nassau High school, a scholar graduate from The University of North Florida and now and a thirteen year educator here in our county. I have every part of myself invested in our future and not the political game. Our county has seen politician after politician make choices without regard to consequence. It is time for district four and every resident in this county to have a real representation.

I am a wife, mother, taxpayer, and educator. My why is all of the above. I was raised here in Nassau county. At the age of fifteen I started working at St. John’s Seafood and then Turn 4 wings in Hilliard all through high school and college. I also worked at UPS for five years in logistics as a second job to cover expenses, graduating debt free from college. I truly understand the value of hard work and pride in ownership.

I have a passion for civil engagement and being involved in our community.

Leadership Accolades:

  • 2019 Florida Agriculture Leadership Educator

  • 2020 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics STEM Teacher of the year

  • 2021 Hilliard Middle Senior High School Teacher of the year

  • 2022 Florida Agriculture in the Classroom teacher of the year

  • 2017- present Career Tech Education Chair

I have coached little league, school sports, and served as the Parliamentary Procedure coach for the past five years. I am dedicated to paving the road and creating a sustainable future in our county for generations to come. I believe in regulated growth with a refocus on our citizens. My priorities are to bring in commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and high wage jobs into our county to change the tax base from rooftop to shared businesses.

The Founding Fathers believed the purpose of government was to protect our "inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."  Government was not meant to guarantee the outcomes of our efforts, nor support and restrict us from cradle to grave. We the people, not politicians, are long overdue to see a true conservatism in this county. I am looking forward to serving the citizens of Nassau County.

I humbly ask for your vote on August 23.
