Candidate: Adam Hitt

I am Adam Hitt and I am running for School Board District 1.  I am a lifelong Suwannee County resident.  I have been married for 18 years to my wife Jennifer who is a 6th grade teacher at Suwannee Middle School and we have two sons, AJ who is in 11th grade at SHS and Braxton who is in 6th grade at SMS.

Currently I am the owner/operator of our family business, Hitt Pest Control.  We have been serving Suwannee County since 1988.  Along with working in our company, I am currently very active in many community activities.

Running for School Board is very personal for me.  Every person in our family is currently involved in our school system in some capacity.  As a business owner, coach, mentor, and parent I feel that I am uniquely qualified for the job.  I am tasked with providing my employees with the resources and training they need to be successful and as a school board member I will do the same. 

I like to say that I am the best pest control person in the world but if you don’t trust me to come into your home, what good does it do?  I will bring a level of trust and authenticity that can’t be matched and I thank you for your consideration.
