I am a Veteran who joined the US Army after completeing High School. I served in the Vietnam War between 1967-1970. Before leaving for war I married my High School Sweetheart, Kathy, in October of 1967. We have been happily married for 54 years now. We have two children Lee Phillips and Terri Phillips Thornton. We have four grandchilren and five great grandchildren. I worked for HIll Contruction and Norton Home Improvment up until started my own company , Everett's Custom Services in 1984. I sold my company in 2001 to take care of my aging mother and mother-in-law. Following thier deaths later in that year, I went to work for the Columbia County Road Department as a supervisor. Then I was called back to where I started at Norton Home Improvement / Bubba's Site Prep as a manager of Bubba's SIte Prep. I did serve as your County Commisoner District 4 from 2016-2019.
