Candidate: Robin S DiSabatino

My name is Robin DiSabatino and my husband, Robert, and I moved to Manatee County part time in 2002 and permanently in 2004. Just like many of our residents, we moved here for the quality of life. Immediately I became engaged in this community and wanted to see us through the tough economic times. I had been a self-employed, licensed REALTOR in Delaware and Pennsylvania since 1986 and Maryland since 1996 and have been licensed as a Broker-Associate with Michael Saunders and Company since 2004. Upon my election in 2010, I placed my license on Referral Status, as I truly dedicate my time and energy to working full-time as the Commissioner of District 4. It has been an honor and privilege to have been serving the citizens of Manatee County for the past three years. I am asking for your support and your vote to continue making our neighborhoods safer, bringing new vitality and energy to South County, creating new jobs and incentives and simply making the quality of life the best for everyone, all the while keeping your Taxes Low! I began my quest to listen to each and every citizen and I promised to protect their best interests above my own. It has truly been humbling to be a full-time, hands on public servant, treating everyone the way they should be treated. The 41 Corridor and 15th Street East both run north and south through my District and we have been working diligently to bring new life and new vitality to these corridors. Businesses are expanding, renovating and partaking in Government-initiated incentives and grants. Creating jobs, providing meaningful economic incentives, fast tracking and quick permitting are the keys to revitalization, regrowth and attracting new growth. Most importantly, we are being successful and pro-business by Keeping Your Taxes Down! I work for you, the people of Manatee County. This is all about you, your children and grand-children.
