Candidate: Walton Pellicer II

My name is Walton Pellicer. I am a democratic candidate for County Commissioner District 5. I am a true Putnam County native in every sense of the word. I was born in 1963 in the former Glendale Hospital here in Palatka to the proud parents of Walt and Pauline Pellicer. I graduated from Palatka High School in 1981, and have been involved with the citizens of our county my entire life. I am a two-time past Master of Hastings Masonic Lodge #183, and a member of the Putnam County Shrine Club. I have also served on the Board at Rodeheaver Boys Ranch, and have helped with various civic, fraternal and volunteer organizations with their fund-raising events. All of this was done in addition to managing our family restaurant, Walt\'s BBQ. I am currently employed with Elliott Welding here in Palatka. I have two beautiful daughters, Payton and Brenna who attend Kelley Smith Elementary, and I have a sister, Pam Pellicer Garris. It is through my life-long dedication to community service that has led me to seek a seat on the Putnam County Board of County Commissioners.
