Candidate: Misty Haggard-Belford

I have been an advocate for the students and teachers of our community over the past five years as an active volunteer in the schools and at the district. I am knowledgeable about the issues facing our schools and have a proven track record of uniting individuals to solve problems and create positive change in our schools and beyond. I am an educator, a mother of two children in public school, a business owner, and President of a non-profit organization. I have experience working with tight budgets to achieve the greatest possible positive impact. I have strong leadership and communication skills to face the challenges that lie ahead. I am someone you can trust to make decisions that are in the best interest of our students, our teachers, and our community. I would be honored to be YOUR voice on the school board.
