Oscar Locklin is Santa Rosa County native. He and Sheena are rearing their 4 daughters in Santa Rosa County, and have chosen the Santa Rosa County School District for their education. Oscar graduated from Pace High School in 1997, earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from Harding University, and a Juris Doctor from Florida State University. He focuses his Pace law practice on real estate, business, probate, wills and trusts. 

Oscar has always been involved in the community, being an active member of Margaret St. church of Christ in Milton his entire life until the family moved to Jay, and now an active member at the Jay church of Christ. Oscar has coached numerous youth sports teams at Gospel Projects in Milton, Jaguar Boosters at Central School, and Jay Recreation. Oscar is a member of the Board of directors of Gulf Coast Bible Camp in Lucedale, Mississippi, the Secretary of Jay Recreation Association, Inc. and President of Royals Basketball Boosters, Inc.

Oscar's priorities are to: 

1. Maintain Santa Rosa County's Conservative values in our School System;

2. Bring Transparency to School District deliberations and decisions;

3. Use his legal training and experience to help solve the complex problems facing our fiscally, socially, and politically conservative county;

4. Make all decisions from the perspective that Students Come FIRST; and

5. Student achievement and well-being starts with supporting teachers' paychecks, benefits, and in the classroom.
