Candidate: Larry Luckey, II

Dear Glades County Citizen,

    My name is Larry Luckey, II, and I have been a resident of Glades County my entire life; and, I now seek your support in my run for the office of Glades County School Board, District 2.

    I feel that I have been preparing for this upcoming role for the past 35 years, as I have gathered a wealth of experience as a public educator.  In my 35 years in education, I have served as teacher for sixteen years, assistant principal for four years, and principal for fourteen years.  In these positions, I have been fortunate to teach as young as prekindergarten and in each level of elementary, middle school, high school, and even adult night school for G.E.D. and college.

   I have experience in site-level operational budgets, federal programs, and curriculum development.  I have worked closely with community leaders, local organizations; and, of course, parents and students to ensure that our youth are receiving a quality education experience.

    I am proud that education has been my vocation, and I am privileged to work with our youth.  I humbly request your vote on my way to serving as Glades County School Board, District 2.
