  • President of HOA, Draper Lake Coastal Village (2014-2017)

Active involvement in key political organizations including the South Walton Republican Party, Walton Republican Federated Women, Walton County Taxpayers Association, and Florida Republican Women-Walton.

Notable Achievements:

  • Successfully defeated rezoning proposals such as the RV Park on Moll Drive and industrial warehouses on Mussett Bayou, preserving residential and conservation areas.
  • Collaborated with developers and neighborhood associations to mitigate the density and intensity of projects, such as reducing 138 unit residential triplex development to 31 single-family homes.
  • Engaged in workshops with the Walton County Planning Department on crucial issues like the Mobility Plan and Fee, Short-Term Rental Ordinance, and the tree ordinance.
  • Instrumental in securing the designation of 30A as a National Scenic Byway and advocating against rezoning on 30A.
  • Collaborated with the Inlet Beach Neighborhood Association to defeat a six unit Planned  Unit Development to justify variances.
  • Alerted the neighbors in The Pines neighborhood of a townhouse development. We  successfully reduced the number to six homes.
  • Actively communicated with citizens via platforms like Facebook to inform them of upcoming meetings and developments, ensuring transparency and community participation.

  • Holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Science from Queens College.
  • Earned a Master of Arts degree from Adelphi University.
  • Holds additional certifications in leadership and administration.
