Linda Conner McLelland
Married, three children, 13 grandchildren, 2 1/2 great-grands. Graduated college at UNF and went directly into teaching for 20 years in Clay County. I lived in Jacksonville until 2018 when moved to Baker County.
Why did I move to Baker?
I grew up in a small county in North Carolina and Baker reminded me of home, especially St Mary’s Catholic Church of which I am a member. I immediately got involved by joining a conservative women’s group and becoming active in Baker politics. I have continued to be involved by leading a state-wide conservative women’s group.
I am now seeking voter support for Commissioner District 1, Sanderson. It is my time to help Baker in its endeavors and struggles as more and more newcomers (such as myself), and industry in our constantly growing county. I spend my time with family, managing my small Notary Public business, and my obligations in the community. My roots are now in Baker County so I am asking voters to let me give back to them.
