Dear Citizens of Baker County, 

It is truly an honor to serve as the Sheriff in Baker County. The people in this town are my friends and my family. I grew up here, went to school here, played Wildcat football, and graduated from Baker County High School in 1990. Soon after graduation, I was hired by the Baker County Sheriff’s Office on October 15, 1992. That Thursday morning in 1992 began my 31 years of service to Baker County.

The people of Baker County are my entire reason for seeking the position of Sheriff. Keeping my neighbors, friends, and family safe is more important than anything else I could do in my life because it is not a job, it is a calling. For 31 years, I have worked to be a positive asset to the team of law enforcement officers at the Baker County Sheriff’s Office. It has been a privilege to work alongside some of the greatest men and women there are in law enforcement. My co-workers at BCSO have made serving Baker County for over three decades a blessing.

Whether you were born here or moved here, you joined a community that I have sworn to protect for over 3 decades. I have given my entire life and career to service in our community because the people right here in my hometown mean everything to me. I am honored to serve Baker County and I am ambitiously looking forward to continuing my service to our community.
