Candidate's Statement

Hi, my name is Jeffery “Jeff” Jordan and I am officially announcing that I am running for Gilchrist County Commissioner District 5. I love Gilchrist County and have been privileged to be a lifelong resident. I married my high school sweetheart Rhonda Santerfeit Jordan in 1988, who is also from Gilchrist County and we have raised both of our children Tyler Jordan-Black and Wesley Jordan here. Both of my children are Bell High school graduates as well as current residents here in this wonderful county. I also have a granddaughter Tatum Black, that is currently in first grade at Bell Elementary School.  As a family we are very active in supporting our local organizations and youth in the area.

My family and I are small business owners in the county. I own both ABT Trusses with my son in law Chris Black, as well as R&J Fuel Stop in Bell. I feel that I have a special insight into Gilchrist county being that I have been a small business owner’s in this county my entire adult life.

If elected I will continue to be an active voice for the citizens of Gilchrist county as well as the business owners.

I am a firm believer of open and honest communication between elective officials and the citizens in which they serve. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns that you have.

My email address is JeffJordan4GilchristCounty@gmail.comI look forward to talking to each of you and seeing if there is any way that I can help address your concerns, big or small.

Jeff Jordan
