Candidate: Olivia Roberts

To the Citizens and Voters of Gilchrist County. My name is Olivia Roberts and it is my honor and privilege to announce my Candidacy for Supervisor of Elections.

I am the daughter of Randall and Regena Roberts, Jr. and the granddaughter of Randall and Gale Roberts, Sr. and Gene and Linda Jenkins. I am blessed to be a 7th Generation Gilchrist County resident. I am also a member of Midway Church of Christ and enjoy being involved in community events.

Upon my graduation from Bell High School in 2013, I received my A.A. degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and then later received my Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Oklahoma State University in 2018.

I had the amazing opportunity to serve under Congresswoman Kat Cammack where I received first hand experience on how our government works and how important it is that we exercise our right to vote. I chose to return to my home county and serve my community on a local level. I currently serve my community as a Customer Care Representative within Gilchrist County Farm Bureau where I am heavily involved.

My Why’s for becoming a Candidate for the Office of Supervisor of Elections are as follows:
• Voting is one of the many, remarkable rights we have as Americans and I want to continue to ensure free and fair elections for the voters of Gilchrist County.
• I want to help recruit and encourage young voters as well as more mature, inactive citizens currently not involved in the voting process. Education for ALL voters on EVERY aspect of their ballot is a must.
• I want to represent the younger generation of people we have in our ever-changing community ... new blood, fresh faces and those who put Gilchrist County and its best interest first and foremost.
• Ultimately, I want to serve a community that has given so much to my family and me, there is no better way to do so than by serving as your next Supervisor of Elections for Gilchrist County.
