Candidate: Darrell Barnhill

Darrell Barnhill is a local business owner for the last 15 years. Darrell currently owns the professional engineering firm of Barnhill, Barnhill & Barnhill LLC. As a small business owner Darrell understands the struggles households and small businesses face when taxes are raised continuously without regard to the taxpayer. He has been married to Debbie Carr Barnhill for 36 years. Debbie has been a second grade teacher for over 20 years in Walton County. They have two sons, Wesley, a Deputy with the Walton County Sheriff’s Department and Brian, a Civil design administrator with Barnhill, Barnhill, and Barnhill Professional Engineers. Darrell and Debbie also have two grandchildren, Andrea age 8, and Gavin age 5. Darrell attended Gulf Coast Community College and The University of Alabama. Darrell holds a license as a Certified Flood Plain Manager.
